Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho will be reuniting in a new drama!
In December, it was revealed that the two actors were in talks to star in a dramatic remake of the movie “Mr. Hong “.
On April 2, it was confirmed that Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho will be starring in the remake titled “Seashore Village ChaChaCha” (literal translation).
Shin Min Ah will play the dentist Yoon Hye Jin, a woman who has beauty and a brain. Her life plan falls apart due to the little righteousness in her heart, and after various obstacles, she moves to the coastal village of Gongjin and meets Mr. Hong.
Kim Seon Ho will play Hong Doo Shik, known as Mr. Hong in town. He is officially unemployed, but he is a master at odd jobs who seems to help everyone in Gongjin with whatever situation they find themselves in.
“Seashore Village ChaChaCha” will be written by Shin Ha Eun, who previously co-wrote “The Crowned Clown” and directed by Yoo Je Won from “Oh My Ghostess” and “Tomorrow With You.”
The drama’s production team commented, “A perfect romantic comedy lineup has been completed. Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho will not only display surprisingly high synchronicity with their characters, but the bubbly yet warm storyline will also bring comfort. Look forward to her rom-com chemistry that is sure to make hearts flutter. “
“Seashore Village ChaChaCha” is scheduled to premiere in the second half of the year on tvN.
