SF9’s Rowoon may be playing the lead role in a new drama!
On April 29, News1 reported that Rowoon was cast as the lead actor in the upcoming drama “SunbaeDon’t put on that lipstick “(working title). The drama is based on a popular 2017 webtoon of the same name. It tells the love story between a charmer.”sunbae“(Someone older at work, school or in an industry) and a bold”hoobae“(Junior) who has everything: good looks, tenderness, sensuality and a serious aura.
A source from FNC Entertainment clarified with Star News that same day, “Rowoon has received an offer to star‘SunbaeDon’t put on that lipstick and you’re considering the role. “
Rowoon debuted with SF9 in 2016 and has been active as an idol and an actor. He first received accolades for his performances in supporting roles in dramas including “School 2017”, “About Time” and “Where Stars Land”. Last year, she rose to stardom through her lead role in the hit drama “Extraordinary You”.
The new JTBC drama is reported to premiere in October.
