Selangor Sultan gives way to the avant-garde

SHAH ALAM: The Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, agreed that his turn for Covid-19 vaccination will only come after all front-line workers, including teachers, have received their vaccinations.

Istana Alam Shah said that Sultan Sharafuddin had emphasized that front-line personnel should be prioritized as they face an increased risk of infection.

The Sultan would continue to adhere to standard procedures and stay home if there are no major business until all front-line workers have received their vaccination.

“The Sultan asks the people, especially those of Selangor, to get vaccinated as scheduled by the Ministry of Health. He also urged them not to be swayed by anti-vaccine groups ”.

In Kangar, Perlis’s Raja Muda, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, also urged people not to be swayed by inaccurate information and incitements about the Covid-19 vaccine.
