The statement by the Selangor ruler came amid a power struggle after opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim claimed he has enough support to form the next government.
Anwar, who is also president of PKR, had a hearing on October 13 with Yang di-Pertuan Agong to present the list of lawmakers, allegedly supporting him, but Istana Negara had clarified that Anwar did not give the names to verify his claims.
The Sultan of Selangor also took note and fully supported the press release issued by Yang di-Pertuan Agong on October 16.
