The Red Devils rallied 2-0 down at Southampton on Sunday to claim a 3-2 win. Head of the saints Ralph Hasenhuttl was quick to scoff at their celebrations, however.
Despite the victory, United remains eighth in the Premier League table and questions remain about their squad.

However, Solskjaer has tried to curb claims that United could invest heavily in January.
He claims that the uncertainty about the market, coupled with his already bloated squad, means that the ins and outs in January appear limited.
“It is difficult to predict how other teams will perform and what the financial situation is like,” Solskjaer he said, through the Evening standard.
“If the teams need to sell or if they have money to buy. I don’t predict many ins and outs, to be fair.
“The world, economically and in football, has also changed. It depends on how the injury situations are in the different teams ”.
When asked if he wants to further strengthen the United team, Solskjaer had a diplomatic response.
“I am very happy with my squad at the moment,” he said. “We are getting stronger. I still have problems every week when we only have an 18-man team to choose from. Who are you leaving out? I feel like I’m in a good position. “

However, Scholes says that Solskjaer himself should take his share of the blame. The former United midfielder said BT sport that the coach would make life easier for his superiors if he had a definitive style of play.

“They change from week to week, how can you find a player? Let’s say they play 4-3-3 every week, they can find the type of player. I can find two wide players.
“That is the big difference with Sir Alex. He knew exactly how he was going to play so he could buy the right types of players.
“It’s practically impossible for a head scout or a soccer director because you have no idea what kind of player you want.”
