Premier League champions Liverpool are aiming for around £ 60 million in player sales before the transfer deadline next week, according to the Daily Mirror.

It was revealed that the Reds are looking to raise a lot of money from the sale of marginal players between now and the end of the transfer period scheduled for later this month.

Liverpool players like Rhian Brewster, Harry Wilson, Marko Grujic and Xerdan Shaqiri are on the sidelines of the first XI right now and could leave in this window.

England’s young forward Rhian Brewster has been the subject of interest from many Premier League teams.

Crystal Palace, Sheffield United, Brighton and Hove Albion, as well as Aston Villa, have been linked to a move for the 20-year-old striker at various stages of this transfer window.

Sheffield United has come closer to securing a deal for Rhian Brewster with recent reports stating that the Blades are about to sign him for around £ 20 million and that the Reds will insert a buyback clause into his contract.

Two clubs are in talks to sign Xerdan Shaqiri, while Hertha Berlin is plotting a move for Marko Grujic after a successful two-year loan period.

Harry Wilson is also attracting Newcastle United interest after a good loan period at Bournemouth last season.
