The Samsung Galaxy S21 series is expected to be announced in January 2021. Ahead of the next Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, a couple of teaser videos of the new flagship phones have already appeared online confirming not only the name but the exterior design of it. new threesome.
@MaxWinebach Android Police has shared a couple of vertical videos that appear to be store demos aimed at the new devices. There is a video for each model and we can confirm that Samsung will continue to maintain the same S21, S21 + and S21 Ultra naming convention as its predecessor.
While the current Note 20 series features a coppery Mystic Bronze as its hero color, Samsung appears to be using violet as its new hero color for the upcoming series. This is the same shade of purple we’ve seen in the leaked Galaxy Buds Pro renders.
Samsung Galaxy S21 5G
The Galaxy S21 is the smallest of the lot and is said to come with a 6.3 ″ flat screen and a triple camera setup. As shown in the video, it features a new camera bump with 3 cameras arranged vertically on a slightly raised bump with 2 rounded corners. What’s interesting is the two-tone color, as it has a purple body, while the bump and camera frame have a bronze finish.
Samsung Galaxy S21 + 5G
The larger Galaxy S21 + also features the same design, but the display is expected to be larger at 6.7 ″. It also has a flat screen and a triple-camera bulge similar to the one on the smaller model. The color scheme is similar too and the video also shows a two-tone purple bronze exterior.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G
The top-of-the-line S21 Ultra comes with a great camera bump just like the S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra. You can see 5 holes that are expected to house a 108MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and two 10MP telephoto cameras that can zoom 10x and 3x. The fifth hole is said to be a Laser AF module.
Since this is the most premium model, we assume that Samsung can use a ceramic back, as it is shown here with an all-black exterior. Unlike the smaller S21 and S21 +, the Ultra’s display has double curved edges and we think it will definitely drive a high refresh rate of at least 120Hz with Quad HD + resolution. The display is also the largest and is expected to retain the same 6.9 ″ size as the current S20 Ultra.

The new devices were recently seen in live photos and match the leaked teaser videos. For 2021, it appears that Samsung is taking a page out of Apple’s book by not including a power adapter in the box. The Korean smartphone maker had initially mocked Apple for not including a charger with the iPhone 12. Finally, Samsung removed its social media posts after it became clear that they, too, are likely to do the same.
Since Malaysia is a key market for Samsung, these devices are expected to land shortly after global launch. The S21 series is expected to run on a Snapdragon 888 or an Exynos 2100.
