The Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) is probably the best value for money flagship smartphone in Samsung’s current lineup. If the price of RM3,399 for the 5G version is out of your budget, Samsung Malaysia will launch a cheaper Galaxy S20 FE LTE option that costs RM700 less.
According to Samsung Malaysia, the Galaxy S20 FE LTE version is priced at 2699 RM and will be available on 11.11. Unlike the 5G version that comes in 6 colors, the LTE version will only be offered in 3 options: Cloud Lavender, Cloud Orange, and Cloud Red.
Samsung Malaysia hasn’t released all of its hardware specs yet, but we think it could run on an Exynos 990 instead of a Snapdragon 865 processor. While the 5G version has a top-of-the-line 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage configuration, it’s LTE version will likely come with lower specs. In the other markets, the Galaxy S20 Fan Editon is offered from just 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of storage.

Hardware specs
The Galaxy S20 FE features a 6.5 ″ Super AMOLED flat panel display that offers Full HD + resolution and a high refresh rate of 120Hz. Depending on the variants, it runs on a Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 990 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. If you need more storage, it also comes with microSD card expansion.
In the camera department, the device features a triple camera setup consisting of a 12MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and an 8MP telephoto camera that offers up to 30X spatial zoom. For selfies, the display has a small notch that houses a 32MP selfie camera.
The S20 FE still retains several fan-favorite features, including stereo speakers, IP68 dust and water resistance, along with support for Samsung Pay. The device is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 25 W fast charging via USB-C. Note that the included charger is a slower 15W charging block. The device also supports wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
