PETALING JAYA: Travelers have been advised to plan their trip as part of the East Coast Expressway Phase 1 (ECE 1) between Sri Jaya and Gambang which has been flooded.

“Currently, all the LPT2 sections between Kuala Terengganu and Jabor remain accessible.

“However, since LPT2 is connected to ECE, customers who have entered the East Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2) are strongly encouraged to stop at any of the rest and service (R&R) areas provided.

“At the same time, they must ensure that they adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) in accordance with the Ministry of Health and National Security Council guidelines,” said East Coast 2 Expressway (LPT2) business manager Roszi Ibrahim. , in a statement on Sunday (January 3).

Roszi said that various facilities are still available to road users at LPT2 R & R, such as in Perasing and Paka, including food stalls, toilets and surau before continuing their journey once the flood has receded.

He also noted that those heading to Terengganu or Kelantan from the Klang Valley are advised to stop at Temerloh R&R at ECE 1 before continuing their journey.
