PETALING JAYA: The failure to deliver six Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) costing RM9 billion to the navy occurred after he resigned as Defense Minister, says Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

In a Facebook post, Zahid said that the non-delivery issue involving Boustead Naval Shipyard (BNS) had nothing to do with him as it only occurred in 2019, after he resigned from his post as minister. defense.

“I would like to emphasize that I resigned as defense minister in 2013 and did not serve in 2019. Clearly, this issue is beyond my knowledge,” he said.
