Brazilian icon Rivaldo has become the latest in a string of Barcelona legends to criticize the club’s decision to let Luis Suárez leave the Camp Nou.
Suárez joined Atlético de Madrid on Wednesday for an offer price of just € 6 million (£ 5.5 million) after six trophy-laden years in Catalonia.
The Uruguayan scored 198 goals for Barcelona and helped the club win the treble in 2015 while playing alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar.
Both former teammates have since criticized the club for “kicking out” Suárez, while Rivaldo is concerned about allowing the 33-year-old to join La Liga rivals.
