MUJERES, the Minister of Family and Community Development, Rina Harun, today refused to be tied up on the question whether the volunteers of the National Welfare Foundation, who received a monthly stipend, were members of her Bersatu party.

Pressed to answer how many of the volunteers were members of the party’s women’s wing, she repeated her claim that you didn’t have to be a member of Bersatu to volunteer at the foundation.
