Rhian Brewster has dropped a gigantic hint about his future as speculation about his Liverpool career continues.

Crystal Palace and Sheffield United have been linked with the forward this summer.

Despite Jurgen Klopp being a huge fan, the 20-year-old has failed to make the first team at Anfield.

He is regarded as one of his best emerging talents, but the chances of him managing consistent playing time this year are slim.

And his recent activity on social media suggests a move is imminent.

The Rising Ballers Instagram account uploaded a post of the former Chelsea trainee holding a trophy in the Liverpool dressing room.

Rhian Brewster could be out this summer

The caption read: “Rhian Brewster will possibly leave Liverpool to join Sheffield Utd for £ 25 million.

“Klopp will put a buyback clause if this deal goes through.”

And Brewster was one of more than 21,000 people who liked the post, which gives an indication of his next move.

Sheffield United has been in the running for the forward and seems poised to beat Palace in his signing.

The Blades have lacked firepower up front this season, with Oli McBurnie and Billy Sharp looking blunt in their first Premier League game against Wolves.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s men triumphed in a 2-0 win while United could only handle two shots on goal.

Brewster spent the latter part of last season on loan at Swansea in the Championship, where he scored 10 in 20 league appearances.

But the youngster has always maintained that he sees his future at Liverpool.

He told The Beautiful Game podcast: “Ultimately, I want to be at Liverpool next season. I want to fight for a place to play.

“Who is not going to want to play at the home of the champions?

“I really don’t want to go on loan, but if that’s the best I can do, go away and have more playing time, then that’s what I’m going to do.

“Realistically, I want to play for Liverpool.

“I want to be the forward, you know?

“I will go to [the Reds’ pre-season training camp], work hard and then whatever the boss says to do, I’ll take it, whether it’s to stay or lend again. “
