KUALA LUMPUR: Gerakan Kuasa Rakyat Malaysia @ G57 today filed several police reports against Sabah’s Chief Minister Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal (pix) and two other members of the Warisan party.

Its president, Datuk Zulkarnain Mahdar, said the reports referred to statements by Shafie alleging that the former chief minister, Tan Sri Musa Aman, had given almost one million acres of land to certain people, including members of his family.

“The claims were made without any solid evidence and the funny thing is that during the 26 months that Shafie was Prime Minister, this land issue was never raised and was not even reported to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

“Unfortunately, after Sabah’s legislative assembly was dissolved, Shafie made the defamatory statement to tarnish Musa’s image and credibility in order to distract attention from his (Shaie) failure to run the state well,” he said in a press conference in front of the Dang Wangi. the district police headquarters (IPD) here today.

He also urged legal action against two Warisan members, Nordin Ening and Ismaily Bungsu, who had accused Musa of being a thief and a thief, without providing any supporting evidence.

Apart from that, Zulkarnain said that a police report was also filed against Shafie following several videos by Jufazli Shi Ahmad describing Shafie as an agent who had entertained the Philippines’ claim on Sabah.

“The strange thing is that Shafie did not file a libel suit against Jufazli, and if it was libel, he should be brave enough to sue, but to this day no action has been taken,” he said.

He said the police should investigate whether there is any truth to the accusation, as he was confident that Jufazli would not have acted without solid evidence. – Named
