PUTRAJAYA: Minister of the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Dr. Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri has tested positive for Covid-19.
The minister confirmed this on his Facebook page on Monday (October 5).
“For all Malaysians, I am currently in treatment after the Ministry of Health tested positive for Covid-19.
“Alhamadulillah, up to this moment, my health is good.
“I urge everyone who attended events between September 24 and October 4 in which I was present, to immediately undergo Covid-19 screening at the nearest health clinic.
“I pray that Allah heals and saves the Malaysians from Covid-19, Insyaallah,” Zulkifli wrote.
On October 3, Zulkifli attended a special Covid-19 ministerial meeting at the Prime Minister’s Department, which was attended by members of the Cabinet, including Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Zulkifli was also in Sabah during the state election campaign period for ministerial programs.
