Realme Malaysia is expanding its line of smartphones with its new Narzo 20 series. The Realme Narzo 20 and 20 Pro have already been launched in India and both will be arriving on our shores very soon.
According to Realme Malaysia, the Narzo 20 series will launch on November 3 at 12 pm The local launch takes place on its Facebook page.
From the looks of it, these are two new smartphones under RM1,000 that offer a large 6.5 ″ screen and a massive battery of up to 6,000mAh. Both also run on MediaTek’s 12nm Helio G series processors.
Narzo 20 Pro
The Narzo 20 Pro is the highest offering in the current Narzo line. It comes with a 6.5 ″ Full HD + display that drives a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it runs on a Helio G95 processor that boasts over 300,000 points in the Antutu benchmark. The Narzo 20 Pro can be configured with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage that can be expanded using a microSD card.
For taking pictures, it has a quad camera setup with a 48 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and two additional 2 MP shooters for macro and depth effects. The screen comes with a small punched hole that houses a 16MP selfie. For instant unlocking, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that doubles as a power button.
Powering the device is a 4500mAh battery that supports Realme 65W SuperDart charging via USB-C. The device also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. Out of the box, it runs on Android 10 with the Realme UI skin on top. In India, the Realme Narzo 20 Pro is priced at INR 13,999 (roughly RM778) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model and INR 15,999 (roughly RM889) for 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage.
Narzo 20
The Narzo 20 is the cheapest alternative, but it has an even bigger battery. At first, the device has a 6.5 ″ screen with a small notch that pushes a lower HD + resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor mated to 4GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB storage options on board.
The rear has a triple camera setup consisting of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the notch comes with an 8MP front camera. Unlike the Pro, the standard Narzo makes do with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Powering the Narzo 20 is a 6000 mAh battery that supports 18 W charging via USB-C. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also preserved. In India, the Narzo 20 is priced at INR 10,499 (roughly RM583) for the 64GB model and INR 11,499 (roughly RM639) for the 128GB version.
