The Realme 6 Pro will be announced locally next week, but if you’re looking for a flagship-class smartphone, it looks like your top-of-the-line Realme X50 Pro 5G is heading to Malaysia very soon. A new device with the model number RMX2075 has appeared in Malaysia’s SIRIM database.
The model number indicates that this is the Realme X50 Pro 5G that was released in February. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and will support 5G. According to the SIRIM list, the device will support the 700GHz, 3500MHz and 3700MHz 5G bands, as well as WiFi 6.11.11ax.
In short, the X50 Pro 5G features a Super AMOLED Full HD + 6.44 ″ display that powers a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate. It has a 2,000,000: 1 contrast ratio, a maximum brightness of 1000 nits and is also HDR10 + certified. Like most of the 2020 flagship, it runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with a 5G modem. The device can be configured up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage.
In the camera department, the X50 Pro 5G features a 64MP main camera with a 1 / 1.72 ″ sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There’s also a 12MP telephoto camera that features up to 20x zoom and a 2MP mono lens for portrait effects.
Meanwhile, the front comes with a dual-hole selfie-punch camera that houses a 32MP main selfie camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Although the X50 Pro 5G lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, it does come with a dual stereo speaker setup that is enhanced with Dolby Atmos. The device is powered by a 4,200 mAh battery and supports 65W SuperDart charging via USB-C. According to Realme, you can get a full charge in just 35 minutes.
In Europe, the device is priced at EUR 599 (approximately RM2,797) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB base storage model. Of course, Malaysian prices will be significantly lower, but we believe they will be priced above the RM2,000 mark. For comparison, its latest flagship, the Realme X2 Pro, launched at RM2,399 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option.
