KUALA LUMPUR: Ras Adiba Mohd Radzi confirmed today that one of his special officers, who is also his younger sister, has tested positive for Covid-19 and is receiving treatment at Sungai Buloh Hospital.
Ras, a senator, said she and 10 other members of her family are awaiting the results of the Covid-19 test.
“I wish to apologize if this has caused any inconvenience to either party,” he said in a statement today.
She saw the incident as a test in her life and hoped that Allah would protect everyone from the pandemic.
Earlier, the minister of the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law), Takiyuddin Hassan, made a motion for today’s session of Parliament to be suspended at 1 pm as a preventive measure against Covid-19.
