Sony Interactive Entertainment removed the launch window for PS5 websites in Southeast Asia in October. The exception to this was Singapore, much to the ire of many players. Elsewhere, it left gamers anxious about whether or not we’ll get the console this year. But finally, the company has confirmed the launch date of the console in Malaysia.

On its Malaysian site, SIE announced that the PS5 will be available from December 11, 2020. In addition to the console, many of its accessories will also be available, such as the DualSense controller, Pulse 3D headphones and multimedia remote control. The company also says that the games will be available between RM209 and RM299.

Sony PS5 Dualsense 2 Controller

This is the best the news can get, considering our situation. We already have at least one local game store that imports the PS5 from Hong Kong. While the choice to get that is ultimately yours, the price you pay can easily get you two consoles through the slower official channels.

Either way, on December 11, you can get the PS5 for RM2299 or the Digital Edition for RM1869. As for accessories, the DualSense is priced at RM349, while the Pulse 3D headset is priced at RM469. Then you have the HD camera, multimedia remote, and DualSense charging station, priced at RM279, RM149, and RM149, respectively.
