KUALA LUMPUR: The police will take strong action against those who disobey standard operating procedures (SOPs) during the silver car ride together with Thaipusam tomorrow.

“Furthermore, trade is not allowed anywhere along the route from Sri Maha Mariamman Temple to Sri Subramaniar Temple, except those that already operate there with the permission of local authorities,” he said in a statement today.
In addition, Hamid said that only 10 people were allowed to accompany the car, namely five members of the temple committee and five other staff members.
