KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman is looking for two men to assist in the investigation of an attempted murder case in Bandar Kinrara.

Bukit Aman CID Director Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed said 10 people, including a foreign woman, had been arrested in connection with the case in which a man was shot by assailants in a house in Bandar Kinrara on September 21. .

“We are looking for these two men, aged 40 and 48, to help with the investigations.

“We hope that the public can help us,” he told a news conference in Bukit Aman on Wednesday (September 30).

On September 21, unknown assailants shot a man in a house in Bandar Kinrara. News of the incident circulated on social media and WhatsApp, and people were advised to be cautious.

According to a post by Facebook user Taqiyudin Yusof, the incident occurred on Monday afternoon.

He claimed that the victim had just parked his car in front of the house and was about to enter when someone following him on a motorcycle shot him.

After the incident, Serdang OCPD Asst Comm Ismadi Borhan said on September 28 that police were alerted to the shooting around 12:45 pm.

“We received information that a man was shot in a house along Jalan BK 5/3, Bandar Kinrara, here.

“Investigations revealed that the 35-year-old victim suffered injuries to his left ribs, believed to have been caused by a gunshot,” he said in a statement.

He said the victim was stable and receiving medical treatment at a hospital.

“The forensic unit from the Selangor police headquarters was dispatched to the scene. Investigations are ongoing and we have identified the suspects involved.

“Operations are under way to locate and arrest the suspects,” he said, adding that the case had been classified as an attempted murder.
