PKR Youth Leaders Say Heads Should Roll Over Leaked Chats Mocking Anwar

It appears that the PKR youth chief Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir has failed to appease his colleagues with yesterday’s apology for participating in a verbal attack on the party chairman. – Malaysia Insight file photo, December 12, 2020.

FURIOUS PKR youth leaders today demanded that the wing chief and several other party members be penalized for the leaked WhatsApp messages insulting Anwar Ibrahim.

PKR youth leaders in Port Dickson, Shah Alam and Gombak today issued separate statements demanding that those participating in the chat group be brought before the party’s disciplinary board.

“We are shocked by the various screenshots that are understood to be from conversations in a WhatsApp group called ‘AMK Bersih’ that involve ‘behind closed doors’ conversations between some of the top leaders of AMK Malaysia,” said Shah’s Sarawanan Selvarajoo Alam, referring to the youth wing by its Malay acronym.
