PJ police donate new mobile phone to burger stand operator after robbery

PETALING JAYA: The district police, touched by the entrepreneurial spirit of a 14-year-old boy, donated a cell phone to him after he was the victim of a robbery.

According to a post on the Petaling Jaya Police Facebook page, the district’s chief police officer, Asst Comm Nik Ezanee Mohd Faisal, personally visited the young hamburger vendor part-time on December 29.

The victim, identified as Muhammad Nor Faizal, was the victim of robbery after he left his hamburger stand to go to the bathroom at 1am.

“Among the items that were stolen were a mobile phone, cash and items used for business.

“The Petaling Jaya Police Station introduced him to a new phone to give the teenager the spirit to face life’s challenges,” the message reads.

Photographs of Petaling Jaya OCPD tasting her hand like a hamburger were also attached, generating positive reactions from netizens.
