According to the brand’s posts on its social media platforms, the OnePlus 8T will launch in Malaysia at midnight on October 22. The teaser posters, sadly, do not contain any information about their official SRP, a crucial detail that the brand will undoubtedly announce on the same day. Considering that the base model of the phone is priced just below the RM3000 mark, many speculate that OnePlus could start selling the OnePlus 8T at a similar starting price as well.

The OnePlus 8T is considered an update to the original OnePlus 8 that was released earlier this year, with some new and improved features, including a new tool for its Game Space mode and the ability to run Fortnite at 90fps.

Specs-wise, the OnePlus 8T employs a new 6.55-inch 120Hz flat panel display, with support for HDR10 + and a DisplayMate A + rating. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC, up to 12GB of RAM, a 128GB or 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage option, and a 4500mAh dual battery that supports OnePlus’s new Warp Charge 65. As for your main camera, you get an additional monochrome sensor while retaining the same camera sensors that were first introduced with the OnePlus 8.
