YOUR OPINION The | “Is Mahathir going to be the architect of putting down the PN again?”

Quigonbond: In the meantime, we have given Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin the benefit of the doubt that the king’s calculations may be correct and that he has a majority in Parliament.
But the more he fears calling a normal parliamentary session and the more he tries to avoid a vote of no confidence, it means that he himself is not sure and that the king may have acted on false information. Increasingly, it makes this government both illegitimate and illegal.
My call to Perikatan Nasional (PN), not so much to Pakatan Harapan because I know they will compel him, is to order the affairs of the state first before it triggers this constitutional crisis.
Regardless of what you need to legislate to bring relief to the nation after the shutdown, you must get a consensus from Harapan so that, no matter what the resulting political turmoil, it has dealt with the rakyat.

What about the posterior block? Can we trust only our banks to recapitalize the many companies? Are we doing something to encourage private wealth circulating globally to Malaysia? Will we ever do aggressive mass testing for Covid-19?
Do all of that first, then you can play your game of thrones in your little corner and let the Malaysians fix everything else ourselves.
Pelanduk: Will Mahathir once again be the architect of stifling PN? This is not the right time, as we are in the thick of the fight against Covid-19.
Make no mistake, I am against Muhyiddin 100 percent, but removing him at this crucial time is not wise.
Assuming he is rejected, who would be the prime minister? Mahathir again? Would you get the support of PKR members?
He had already mentioned in unequivocal terms that PKR leader Anwar Ibrahim will not be Prime Minister, and it would be unthinkable for Anwar’s supporters to support Mahathir as Prime Minister.
DAP should learn a lesson by now. Despite supporting Mahathir, he was still his old self, defending affirmative politics. The only solution is to have a PKR prime minister candidate before supporting the motion.
Remember to make sure Mahathir provides your support in writing. Otherwise, he would back off his words again.

He flirted with PAS and Umno, both openly and secretly. He thought he would be the emperor of PN (his so-called unity government).
Have you ever thought about rakyat? In fact, we should have a vote of no confidence against him. He deserves nothing from the rakyat. The only thing he deserves is the fatal blow Muhyiddin gave him.

But instead, it turned the country upside down, playing political cat and mouse within Harapan, destroying Malaysia’s reputation on the world stage, souring our country’s trade relationship with key partners, and more.
Rather than being upset with the new government, I think Malaysians should teach this selfish Mahathir a lesson by leaning on the new government and express our gratitude to the king for disconnecting Mahathir’s folly of wanting to remain Prime Minister despite his age. .
Between February 23 and March 10, Mahathir had conveniently breached his obligation to protect the Malays. Instead of implementing preventive measures during the early stages of the coronavirus crisis, he engaged in political intrigue.
Hundreds of billions of ringgit will be wasted to clean up this mess Mahathir has left behind and excludes the cost of his other failed economic policies. And now you still think this country needs him to lead?
