This is because the government has allowed most businesses and social activities to resume from May 4 in an attempt to restart the economy and allow people to adjust to the “new normal” in the wake of the Covid outbreak. -19.
Only those who wish to travel across the states to resume work or return home after being trapped in their towns since the MCO was announced on March 18 will be able to do so.
However, travel abroad is still prohibited.
“Interstate travel is not allowed yet, except for the purpose of going to work or returning to their own homes after being stranded in their kampung or other places.
“Sorry, but interstate travel to balik kampung for the Aidilfitri celebrations is not allowed,” he said in a live speech on Labor Day earlier today.
In addition to traveling, the prime minister said that religious activities involving a gathering of people are not yet allowed.
This includes religious processions, Friday solat prayers and any gatherings in mosques, suraus and other places of worship.
