PUTRAJAYAMalaysia had the new highest record of cured cases of Covid-19 infection today, with 2,555 documented cured cases.
Health Director General Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, in his statement today, said the figure brings the cumulative number of fully cured Covid-19 cases to 49,056 cases or 80.7 percent of the total. cases.

Dr Noor Hisham said that the daily new Covid-19 cases registered today were 935 cases, bringing the total number of positive Covid-19 cases in Malaysia to 60,752 cases.
“Of the total number of new cases, four are imported cases of infections from abroad, while 931 cases are national transmissions. The number of active cases with infectivity by Covid-19 is 11,348 cases, “he said.
Dr Noor Hisham said that Sabah recorded the highest number of daily cases with 326 cases (34.9%), followed by Selangor with 161 cases or 17.2% and Negeri Sembilan which recorded 158 cases or 16.9%.
Dr. Noor Hisham said that three states that did not register any new cases today were Pahang, Melaka and Perlis.
To date, he said that 110 positive cases of Covid-19 were being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and 45 required respiratory assistance.

All the cases of Covid-19 deaths today were from Sabah and involved locals, including a 70-year-old woman who died at Duchess of Kent Hospital.
Two more deaths involved a 59-year-old man, with a history of hypertension and asthma, who died at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and a 77-year-old woman, who also suffered from diabetes and hypertension, who died at Tawau Hospital. – Called
