NCT Dream has made NCT’s first No. 1 on Melon’s realtime music chart!
In the early hours of April 30 KST, just hours after its release the night before, NCT Dream’s new title track “Ridin” rose to No. 1 on Melon, Korea’s largest music streaming site.
Although NCT Dream had previously reached # 1 on other realtime music charts, the achievement marked its first time topping the Melon chart in realtime. Additionally, “Ridin ‘” has now earned the distinction of becoming the first song of any NCT unit to reach No. 1 on Melon.
Starting at 8 a.m. KST, “Ridin ‘” was not only still No. 1 on the chart, but NCT Dream’s new mini album “Reload” had swept five of the top six spots, with all B sides of the album lined up from No 3 to No. 6 in the table. “7 Days” led the group at No. 3, while “Love Again”, “Quiet Down” and “Puzzle Piece” followed at No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.
Hours before, before the song rose to No. 1, NCT Dream members posted a video of themselves happily celebrating “Ridin ‘” reaching No. 3 on the Melon chart in real time, their highest ranking on the chart. at that moment.
