KUALA LUMPUR: My EG Services Bhd
had its concession contract to provide services to the Department of Highway Transportation extended for three years from May of this year to May 2023.
In an announcement to Bursa Malaysia, he said he had received the letter from the Transport Ministry on Friday to extend e-government services.
The agreement concerns the electronic delivery of vehicle license plates, driver and vehicle licenses and payment of summons services.
“The board of directors believes that the extension is in the best interest of the company and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the company for the financial years ending December 31, 2020 and beyond,” he said . .
MY EG said that an agreement to formalize the extension will be signed and announced by the company in due course.
MY EG shares rose 18 sen to RM1.84 at noon. It was actively traded with 62.64 million shares realized at prices ranging from RM1.67 to RM1.92.
