SABAH SURVEYS | Former Sabah Chief Minister Musa Aman finally returned to Sungai Manila ahead of tomorrow’s elections, rallying BN supporters to reject Warisan Plus candidates and Acting Prime Minister Shafie Apdal.

In his speech, Musa claimed that Shafie, throughout the campaign in Sabah, had tried to cover up Warisan’s alleged weaknesses by blaming him.

“He can’t run the state, so he started to point the finger, (so) who is wrong? Muse Aman!

“Now listen, that big office that you (Shafie) are sitting in, who built it? We did it!” Musa told the cheers of more than 200 BN followers in Manila river, a new constituency sculpted in Sungai Sibuga, the seat he has held since 1994.

Manila River, Sibuga River Y Bubble gum They fall under the seat of the Lebanese Parliament. Musa also previously led Libaran Umno for more than 20 years until 2018, when he was replaced by Suhaimi Nasir.

The spirited Musa campaigning for BN’s Sungai Manila candidate Mokran Ingkat further mocked Shafie for allegedly taking undue credit for development projects launched during his time as chief minister.

“We have done many things. What did he do? What did Warisan do?

“He has two positions, ‘the pitcher’ and ‘the tape cutter’ … we developed the projects, we got the funds, we pushed ourselves,” Musa said.

Musa also insisted that since he is no longer in the running to compete and be the next chief minister, there should have been no reason for Shafie’s alleged attacks on him.

“Perhaps he is afraid of my shadows,” Musa stated.

Aside from Mokran, Musa is also scheduled to campaign for BN Sungai Sibuga’s candidate, Mohamad Hamsan Awang Supain.

Musa triggered state polls after his failed coup against Shafie earlier this month and it was previously speculated that he would contest Sungai Manila’s seat after he tweeted about his possible return to the area.

He had kept a low profile after failing to show up on nominations day, but then showed up in the campaign of NP and BN candidates across Sabah, including in functions attended by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

Musa retained his seat in Sungai Sibuga after the Sandakan High Court rejected on technical grounds an election petition filed by Warisan candidate Asmara Abdul Rahman to overturn the results.

In the petition, Asmara reported alleged fraud when there was a deliberate delay in signing Form 14 after the vote counting.
