Musa Aman said he will go to various places in the state to campaign for the candidates of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah.

PETALING JAYA: Musa Aman today announced his willingness to help campaign Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates for the Sabah elections, following days of speculation after not being presented as a candidate and then making a surprise campaign appearance from PBS and Perikatan Nasional (PN).

His announcement was made in response to an invitation from Sabah BN President Bung Moktar Radin for Musa to help in the BN candidate campaign in Libaran, which is seen as a stronghold of the former prime minister.

“In difficult and good times, we must help each other. That is our original fight. God willing, we will help each candidate together, ”he said today in an Instagram post.

Musa told reporters yesterday that he will travel across the state to campaign for the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) candidates. GRS consists of PN, BN, and PBS.

He had previously sparked intense speculation after he said in a social media post that he would “return to Sungai Manila,” although he was not present at any nomination center when the day came.

He had been noticeably absent since then, before making a surprise appearance at an event in Beaufort last night, which was also attended by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
