Amanah Vice President Mujahid Yusof is in Bukit Aman tonight to give his statement.

KUALA LUMPUR: Former Islamic Affairs Minister Mujahid Yusof Rawa arrived at the Bukit Aman Federal Police Headquarters to give his statement to the Classified D5 Criminal Investigation Unit.

The Amanah vice president entered the Bukit Aman compound at 5.33 pm.

He is believed to have been called in to provide details on a statement he allegedly made in March questioning the powers of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah by appointing Muhyiddin Yassin as the eighth prime minister.

Mujahid was accompanied by his lawyer.

Mujahid previously said he did not know what the investigation into him was about and said he would provide his full cooperation.

Meanwhile, the deputy director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Mior Faridalathrash Wahid, said that Mujahid was called after a new police report on a problem that happened in March.
