The prime minister’s resignation is not in the letters, a source present at a ministers meeting last night told The Star, amid speculation about such a development following the king’s rejection of his proposal to invoke emergency laws.

Cabinet members had gathered at Muhyiddin Yassin’s residence last night after the actual decision was announced, leading some to infer that the leader would resign.
