In a statement of frequently asked questions related to the conditional motion control order (MCO) issued on Thursday (October 22), the Ministry of Industry and International Trade (Miti) said that employees in management and oversight groups include those whose tasks involve accounting, finance, administration, legislation, planning and information and communications technology.

“Companies can run a rotation system to appoint the representatives of the management and supervision groups that should be in the office.

The ministry said employers should issue a travel authorization letter to every employee who is allowed to work during the MCO’s conditional period.
Employees in other sectors categorized as informal sectors, such as retail, food, plantations, agriculture, street vendors, food stalls, restaurants, food courts, grocery stores, and convenience stores, can work as usual according to the MCO conditional operating standard. procedures that have been established.
