Missing Dad: News Found Just Not True, Daughter Says

PETALING JAYA: The family of a man who disappeared Tuesday is still awaiting his safe return and have denied false messages that they have found him.

Robert Low’s daughter, Sha-Ron, used Facebook to tell the public that her father had not yet returned home and that the news that he had been found was not true.

“Our dad is still not home and the search continues today.

“Some friends contacted me saying in a WhatsApp group, the news (was that) they had found him. Unfortunately, this is not true, ”he posted on Facebook on Wednesday (December 9).

Sha-Ron also clarified that she and her only sister provided their foreign numbers to receive updates on their missing father because they were based in Singapore and Australia, respectively.

The family continues to search for Low and has even enlisted the help of taxi networks and e-hailing.

They have also filed a police report and informed the road authorities to assist them in the search.

Low, 78, was last seen near Desa Petaling, where his office is located.

It is believed that he lost his way home after leaving work at 4 p.m. to deliver products to a customer.

The family spoke with him for the last time around midnight before he became uncontactable as his mobile phone is believed to have run out of power.

Low was driving a silver Nissan Sentra with the license plate WLD8523. He was last seen wearing a grayish blue t-shirt and black pants and is described to be around 168cm tall and slim.
