PUTRAJAYA: Six new Covid-19 clusters have been identified in Sabah, Negri Sembilan, Johor, Selangor, and Sarawak.

Meanwhile, Dr. Noor Hisham said that Kaya’s group was also identified in Negri Sembilan and Putrajaya.
“Cases in this group were identified from workplace screenings on October 24 and were admitted to Sungai Buloh and Tuanku Jaafar Hospitals.
“They have examined 63 people with 55 positive results, six negative and two awaiting results,” he said.
He added that in Gombak, Selangor, Bah Kayu’s group was identified with their group index (case 17,371) that tested positive after screening when the individual returned from Sabah on October 13 and was admitted to Sungai Buloh Hospital. .
“Close contact screening tests led to the identification of 16 positive cases. We have examined 628 people with 17 positive tests, 591 negative and 20 awaiting results,” he said.
In Sarawak, Dr. Noor Hisham said the Baki group involving the index (case 20,431) was identified who tested positive after showing symptoms on October 17 and was admitted to Umum Sarawak Hospital.
“Close contact screening tests resulted in four more positive tests. We have screened 68 people with five positive tests, 34 negative and 29 awaiting results,” he said.
Meanwhile in Johor the Kempas group involving Johor Baru and Kulai districts was identified.
