Michael Owen is backing Liverpool FC to claim all three points when he makes the journey to face Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds started the Premier League weekend in second place on the table and tied on points with leader Tottenham Hotspur in the title race.

Liverpool FC are looking to defend their Premier League crown this season and have won three of their last five top flight matches with Jurgen Klopp.

The Merseyside side are preparing to face Fulham that have lost three of their last four Premier League games and are close to the relegation zone.

Owen, a former Liverpool FC and Manchester United star, feels the Reds will have too much for Fulham on Sunday afternoon and is backing Klopp’s men to take all three points.

Writing in your column to BetVictorOwen said: “Liverpool were very impressive last week at home to Wolves.

“Despite having a small team, they are still getting results.

“Although Fulham has looked good in patches, I am afraid they will come up short this season.

“Your dangerous man, [Aleksandar] Mitrovic, you need a goal. He may like his chances here but I can’t see past Liverpool getting another win. “

Liverpool FC won the Premier League title with seven matches to spare last season, as they finished a staggering 18 points ahead of second-placed Manchester City.

The Reds are back in Premier League action on Wednesday night when they host Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield in the top flight.
