Meghan Markle’s explosive claims during her interview with Oprah Winfrey have brought her quite a bit of criticism.
Royal photographer Arthur Edwards, who has been covering the British royal family for the past 44 years, recently claimed that the Duchess of Sussex was by far the most welcome royalty in the family.
Speaking in ITVdocumentary of The week that rocked the Royals, the 80-year-old photographer said: “The fact is, Meghan received the most welcome to the Royal Family that anyone has ever received.”
In a separate piece written for Sun, praised Oprah for the explosive interview, stating that she was the sole winner of the tumultuous weekend that wreaked havoc at Buckingham Palace.
“Make no mistake, this is a razor’s edge moment in recent royal history hitting the Panorama reveals of Diana in a cocked hat. Harry and Meghan have the best public relations Hollywood can buy. I think nothing in that interview was said by chance. I feel a desperate sadness that it has come to this. Everyone has been hurt here. It was not necessary to do this, “he wrote.
