KUALA LUMPUR: MBSB Bank Bhd has announced that one of its non-customer-facing employees based at Kenanga International, Jalan Sultan Ismail, has tested positive for Covid-19.
The employee is currently receiving treatment, it said in a statement issued today.
MBSB Bank has been tracking contracts to contain the spread of the virus, while all of its Kenanga International employees have been asked to work from home.
Everyone who has been in direct contact with the affected employee has also been asked to work from home.
Meanwhile, the Kenanga International branch and its occupied floors will be closed on October 12 for cleanup.
“MBSB Bank assures all its clients and the general public that there will be no interruptions in any of its services, as the bank has established a solid business continuity plan to guarantee the smooth running of its operations in the event of such incidents. .
“MBSB Bank will continue to take preventative measures to ensure the safety of our customers and employees,” he said.
