KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Tourism and Travel Agents Association (MATTA) has announced its first online MATTA fair to be held from September 23 to 30 with national and future international vacation packages from 100 exhibitors.
MATTA President Datuk Tan Kok Liang said the recently introduced digital platform would allow travel agents, tour operators and other tourism service providers to sell vacation packages directly to consumers, focusing on domestic travel.
The online fair is a new initiative by MATTA to meet the diverse needs of Malaysian travelers seeking special vacations, such as one-time adventures or family vacations, among more than 1000 irresistible vacation and package tour offers.
“The Covid-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed the future of travel and we are in a position to seize new opportunities by transforming and enabling the discovery and booking of travel products and services through a digital platform,” he said in a statement released today. .
