Pellistri has signed a five-year contract at Old Trafford and is expected to join the squad directly.
Pelllistri told Manchester United’s official website: “Having the coach’s confidence is an incredible feeling and I know that working with him will be perfect for my development.
“Joining a club with Manchester United history is a dream come true. I have learned a lot in Peñarol and I would like to thank you for everything you have done for me ”.
Meanwhile, Kambwala will cost United £ 3 million in compensation for the center-back, who joins from France’s Sochaux side. He plays in the center of the defense, but can also replace the winger and the central midfield.
United have also managed to bring in 16-year-old defender Willy Kambwala from Sochaux
The 16-year-old defender was on the radar of Liverpool, United’s rival in the Premier League, but has opted to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team for next season.
Sochaux was desperate to keep his star from the academy and even turned down United’s initial offer of £ 1 million when he was just 15 years old.
Pellistri, known as ‘Facu’, made his professional debut for Peñarol in August 2019 at the age of 17 after impressing coach Forlán, who recommended the signing to his former club.

Speaking of Pellistri, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: ‘Our scouts have followed Facundo for a long time and we think he will be a real talent in the long run.
While we understand it will take time for him to adjust to the English game, he is capable of making an impact with his pace and ability to beat his opponent.
“Facundo has the perfect platform at Manchester United to develop and has all the technical qualities and the right mindset to become a top player here.
“We are all looking forward to working with him to develop his potential in the years to come.”
