Manchester United will launch for Gareth Bale if they continue to be frustrated in their search for Jadon Sancho.
With Borussia Dortmund playing hard on goal Sancho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team is ready to offer Bale an escape route from his nightmare at Real Madrid.
The Wales star is believed to be available on a permanent transfer for around £ 22 million, and Madrid is feeling the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
But it is understood that United will seek a loan, with Madrid sharing the cost of Bale’s huge salary.
The Red Devils were interested in Bale last summer but were put off by the forward’s £ 600,000 weekly wages.
But it is understood that United bosses will approve a measure this time if conditions are more favorable, amid reports that Bale is willing to accept a pay cut to leave the Bernabeu.
The former Tottenham star has barely played for Madrid this year as he has fallen out of favor with coach Zinedine Zidane, despite Los Blancos blocking his proposed move to China last summer.
Left-back Sergio Reguilón has also been linked to a move to United, and he and Bale trained away from the rest of the Madrid squad on Friday.
However, according to Marca, it was only because both players are recovering from injuries.
Reguilon has been offered to United as Madrid try to ditch the defender to raise funds for their own transfer business.
He enjoyed an impressive loan campaign at Sevilla last season, helping them win the Europa League, but the 23-year-old is considered to be behind Marcelo and Ferland Mendy in Madrid’s pecking order.
Madrid value Reguilón at £ 27 million, but United is believed to prioritize signing an attacking player rather than adding another full-back to their ranks.

Dortmund winger Sancho has been the Red Devils’ main target all summer, and a deal is believed to have been reached on personal terms.
However, the Bundesliga club is convinced it wants £ 108 million for the 20-year-old England star, while United is believed to value it at around £ 80 million.
