Multiple players in The Manchester United team is unhappy with the treatment Sergio Romero has received, according to reports.

Towards the end of last season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made the surprising decision to face David De Gea ahead of Sergio Romero in United’s semi-final matches in the FA Cup and Europa League.

Romero had been Solskjaer’s first goalkeeper in both competitions up to that point.

The Argentine, who joined United on a free transfer in 2015, was wanted by Everton in competition for Jordan Pickford.

But United blocked Romero’s exit in the final stages of the transfer window when Everton tried to secure a loan deal.

Everton reportedly offered a £ 2 million fee and cover Romero’s £ 100,000 weekly salary in full, but United wanted a permanent sale for £ 8 million.

Everton ended up signing Robin Olsen on loan from Roma on the deadline.

According to ESPN, some members of the United squad have “expressed disappointment” with how Romero has been treated.

The report claims that the belief in the United locker room is that Romero has been “unfairly frozen.”

The 33-year-old has also been left out of United’s Champions League squad, and Solskjaer has chosen to choose De Gea, Dean Henderson and Lee Grant as his three goalkeepers.

Romero still has the option to join a club in MLS, as his transfer window is still open.

After his move to Everton collapsed on the deadline, Romero’s wife, Eliana Guercio, attacked United.

‘It is a very sad day because I wanted the opportunity to go to another club,’ he wrote on Instagram.

“He has worked hard every day for this, because he gives everything for United and I think his chances of playing for United have been reduced.

This doesn’t sound good to me. It doesn’t seem honest, professional, or serious that they have to let it go. I’m very sad about this. ‘
