Manchester United is among the contenders to sign Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid, according to reports.
Ramos is in the last year of his contract at Madrid, where he has been since 2005. In that time, he has become a club legend, even scoring 100 goals despite being a defender.
However, his time at Madrid may be coming to an end. The club may have to release you at the end of your contract in an effort to reduce your salary expense.
Even though Ramos will be 35 by then, there will still be a lot of interest in him. For example, He has been linked to a transfer to Inter Miami by David Beckham.
More recently, There were rumors that Neymar wanted him to join Paris Saint-Germain – and that would lead him to compromise his own future with the giants of Ligue 1.
Now, however, claims have emerged that Ramos could end up in the Premier League. According to BrandManchester United is one of the three clubs interested in the World Cup winner.
PSG and Juventus are the others, although the Spanish media affirms that Madrid could offer him a two-year extension on the same terms to stay.

Ramos’ salary demands would be a big problem for United or Juventus, but PSG could afford it.
However, United is still looking for a first-choice partner for Harry Maguire as a central defender. Their defensive record so far this season has not been the best, so they could sign a reinforcement.
Someone like Ramos would provide the leadership qualities that some perceive they lack.
Possibility of agreement prior to the contract
Ramos will be able to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside of Spain from January, with a view to joining them for the new season.
Ramos has played 660 games for Real Madrid and has won 22 major titles along the way. His experience would benefit any team he plays for next season.
That could still be Madrid, but if they can’t convince him to stay then he could pursue a new challenge in a different league.
