Manchester United is close to reaching a two-year deal to sign Edinson Cavani, sources told ESPN.
Cavani, a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season, has been offered to every major club in Europe, but United are now actively working on a deal that could see the forward travel to England on Sunday for a medical exam.

Sources have told ESPN that talks quickly accelerated Saturday with final discussions scheduled for Sunday morning.
