MINNESOTA, USA (ANN): A Minnesota man in the United States has just set a new record for the world’s tallest full mohawk in Guinness World Records, which stands at 108.2 centimeters or 42.5 inches.
Joseph Grisamore said he felt “like a champion” for holding the title, as seen on the Guinness World Records Instagram page today, August 28.
It takes Grisamore around an hour to set up his mohawk, sometimes with the help of his wife or a hairdresser. In 2006, he tried to take home the record for the highest peak mohawk in the world, but failed.
The Guinness title holder revealed that he simply let his hair grow out naturally. Grisamore hasn’t shaved his hair since 2013, aiming for the title of the world’s tallest full mohawk.
The Man’s Achievement will be featured in the 2021 edition of the Guinness World Records.

Grisamore’s bid for the title took place on September 20, 2019, at a local beauty salon in Park Rapids, according to the Guinness World Records website. To perfect her full mohawk hairstyle, a hairdresser styled her hair with the help of his wife, mother, and a can of hairspray. – Philippine Daily Inquirer / Asia News Network
