SHAH ALAM: The Selangor Zakat Board (LZS) confirms that one of its staff at its headquarters in Section 13, here, is positive for Covid-19
LZS, in a statement yesterday, said staff were confirmed positive on Sunday after undergoing a screening test on Thursday and had been sent for treatment at a hospital.
According to the statement, the staff, prior to this, were found to be a close contact of a close family member and had been ordered to self-quarantine for 14 days at their home since Nov. 11.
” During the period, the staff did not go to the LZS office and did not have any dealings with any other staff or clients.
“LZS is working closely with the Malaysian Ministry of Health to ensure that all actions to control the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic are quickly implemented,” the statement said.
LZS also said that a comprehensive disinfection had been implemented in the workplace involved under the stipulated guidelines.
The statement also said that clients operating with LZS were urged to comply with the standard operating procedure stipulated in all branches of the institution.Called
