Blackpink, one of the most successful K-pop groups to emerge in recent years, is the main subject of the Netflix documentary. Blackpink: Light up the sky.

Watch the video below as all four members – Jisoo, 25, Jennie, 24, Rosé, 23, and Lisa, 23 – send a personal greeting to The star readers and talk about the documentary.

Light up the sky shows the South Korean quartet talking about their personal thoughts, challenges, and dreams. It also includes behind-the-scenes moments as the four of them perform around the world, as well as clips of them just hanging out.

At a press conference in Seoul, South Korea, on October 13, Jennie said, “While the documentary shows many of our post-debut moments, we also wanted to share our daily lives with our fans.

“Filming the documentary also made us think of our funniest sides that we had forgotten about and made us feel closer to each other.”

Looking at the documentary, it’s obvious that the four of them are a tight-knit unit, which is understandable since they’ve been together for nearly a decade since their teenage trainee days.

When asked when Blackpink is at its best, Rosé replied, “We shine the brightest when the four of us are together.”
