Liverpool edged out Wolves 4-0 to even the points with Premier League leaders Tottenham on Sunday.
The victory gives Jurgen Klopp’s men 24 points from 11 games, the same as the Spurs who beat Arsenal 2-0 earlier in the day.

Mohamed Salah opened the scoring before half an hour when he lunged after a mistake by a Wolves defender in the 24th minute.
Salah’s goal was 84 in the Premier League, matching Cristiano Ronaldo’s total scored during his days at Manchester United. Salah needed just 131 games to accomplish the feat, 65 fewer games than the Portugal captain.
Liverpool held their lead until halftime after the VAR overturned the decision to award a penalty to Conor Coady of the Wolves after replay showed Sadio Mane’s apparent kick failed to land.
Georginio Wijnaldum added some sparkle with a fine goal in the 58th minute. The Dutch midfielder, chosen by a wonderful long ball from Jordan Henderson, confidently shot Rui Patrício’s top corner from the edge of the area.
Joel Matip put the game out of reach nine minutes later with a powerful header from a Salah cross from a corner kick situation. An own goal from Nelson Semedo in the 78th minute secured the win at Anfield.
