Liverpool has opened talks with Napoli about Kalidou Koulibaly, according to reports. The Reds want to associate him with Virgil van Dijk.

This is because both Kostas Manolas and Nikola Maksimovic seem like good replacements, in case Koulibaly leaves for a big fee. And it would certainly be a great fee.
Before it all closed, Napoli wanted at least £ 87m for the Senegalese defender. That price is now “obviously lower,” according to the report, and he imagines it to be the most difficult hurdle for both teams.
